This mod really captures the feel of what Wolf3D or “Spear of Destiny” may have become if they had built it on Doom tech. The plot even loosely follows the premise of SoD at one point.
It’s also _very_ polished for a fan project. Even the secrets like the Jazz and Keen sections feel lovingly crafted.
Hard recommend for folks who can’t get enough Wolf, or want something slightly more modern, yet still retro.
Even if you don’t think it’s for you, a playthrough video can be entertaining as there are recurring characters, story, and quite a few beautiful set pieces.
