Is there an alternative to Magelo?

Hello,

I’ve sort of fallen back into EQ again; last time I played, Magelo was the de facto system to use for character profiles, since EQ Players was a complete waste of time.

Magelo appears to have removed the ability to manually create a character profile, requiring instead that you install an application on your PC to sniff the information out. I don’t trust them enough to want to do this.

So, is there an alternative to Magelo? Or has EQ Players actually gotten past Beta yet to make it worth considering?
