These are all the reviews I can find on Ultima Underworld. The first is a retrospective from PC Zone’s Games That Changed The World series and the other 2 are contemporary reviews:-
If anyone fancies Ultima Underworld novelizations, Warren Spector’s wife Caroline worked on two Ultima cluebooks, Avatar Adventures and More Avatar Adventures which included the entirety of some of the Ultima games written as a story. The first book includes UU1 and the second UU2. I scanned them both in years back and they are hiding on https://www.pixsoriginadventures.co.uk/downloads if you search hard enough. There’s also a scan of an Ultima Underworld 3 design document I got hold of at https://www.pixsoriginadventures.co.uk/12004-2/ if you want to know what might have been.
