I’d like to suggest playing Bitmap Brother’s Magic Pockets.

Downsides with this game are it is very difficult to get a DOS copy of this game. As far as I know its still commercial software but not available for purchase as a digital download anywhere online. Physical boxes are also very uncommon.

Upside would be that the game is a fantastic platformer (in my opinion) with great artwork and game content. Music is lacking to say the least, but the sound effects are fairly decent. A very simple game overall to get in to but I think most people would enjoy it.

This game is definitely a hidden gem.

I have an old copy of this game and I love it. I definitely is a gem. For some reason, in later levels, I think my copy must be buggy or something because I just can’t progress to the next level at some point… or it may be I’m just really bad 😛 I’d love to see this game here!
