    Hi,

I know I was told I could post this here, but I’m half shy / half easy to distr… what was I doing here? oh!

Anyway, I’ve released a new DOS 16-bit game (286 or better, but you’re probably *better* using a 386 in some stages), FM for music (AdLib or compatible) and SoundBlaster for effects. Play it with joystick (two buttons) or keyboard.

I was reading Shareware Heroes (good book btw), and I kind of felt nostalgic of my shareware experiences back in the day; and before I could realise what I was getting myself into, I was making a game that could have been released in the early 90s (although 286 and VGA is not a great match!).

It is a simple single screen shoot and jump arcade platformer type of game, with 50 screens, and hopefully fun gameplay.

You can get the game for free here: https://www.usebox.net/jjm/alien-intruder/

(copy this floppy AND no need to register the game, wow!)

It plays fine in DOSBox (or any of its variants).

    Cheers!

I played this when it dropped and it’s fun; I encourage everyone to give it a look.
