“Nomad” is a ‘first person’ spaceship captaining adventure, notable for offering various paths to victory against an encroaching empire of evil robots. You can play as a typical guns-blazing hero and just to blast the mechanised menace into submission, or as a trader / explorer piecing together the various (quite well written) plot lines in a search for a more peaceful solution.

This is one of the few DOS games I was able to actually play during the 90s so it’s quite close to my heart 🙂
