A racing game called Ignition came to my mind today. I played it A LOT one summer with a friend of mine. It’s a simple arcade racing game that is closer to something like Death Rally than Grand Prix Circuit. It’s not that long either, so it would fit DGC very well. The tracks are fun and very diverse.

That reminded me of a Finnish gem: Death Rally!
It’s even less serious racing game where you have to buy/upgrade cars and weapons. It’s a really pretty game with addictive gameplay.

Death Rally is the first game of a small game developer called Remedy Entertainment.

Never heard of either games, the first one looks like a fun N64-era racer! What’s its name?

This makes me realize Grand Theft Auto is technically a DOS game as well.

GTA was at least suggested on IRC. I would love to play it. It’s not a racing game though 🙂

:0 I used to have a demo of Ignition on a floppy disk. IIRC it was a great game; I’d love to play it again.
