System Shock was game of the month in the Czech Score magasine:

The game received a score of 94% and was praised for its leap in tech and was described as “this is how games will be in the future”. Interestingly controls were not criticised at all, I guess mouse look was still not a thing. One detail that was mentioned was the ability to keep notes on the automap and I must say I used this feature a ton and miss it in modern games quite a bit.
