Having pretty much exhausted the options inside the town, I bravely decided to explore the surrounding areas this morning. I quickly realised the worth of running through the forest rather than walking, after meeting a bunch of these miserable creatures:

After some time exploring and many, many reloaded saves, I came upon a dead end inhabited by bizarre animals:

If only I could communicate with them…

A little while later I stumbled into a stag and a woman with a rather wooden expression:

There’s a lot going on in these woods, so I’ve decided I’ll need a map if I’m to explore this place properly! Therefore in the evening I returned to the town for a good night’s rest and a casual bit of thieving.

I love that you found the meeps and the Dryad 😀 There are so many cool characters in this game, it’s nuts!
