I’m running out of episodes to listen to.. Can’t believe no one has mentioned this legendary game.
There’s just something about the style of this game where it’s hard to decide if it’s a trash game or artistic masterpeice
This game feels so jokey. It’s taking the monkey island humor, and taking it up to 11. The beginning boot camp alone is so full of goofs, that it almost feels like a joke game. But if you proceed past that, it’s actually a pretty challenging point ‘n click game without the Sierra death loop.
If you enjoy absurd, almost monthy python level of humor, and point ‘n click adventures; this is the game for you. It’s also free on GoG.
I also feel it’s a game a lot of us played for the simple reason that it was distributed as shareware (at least the first part, the training camp). Agreed, it would be an interesting pick for an episode especially if we can trace more of its history (first CD Rom game in Poland apparently!)
Yeah, this is nostalgic for me, from playing the shareware version. I think I did try to play the full version much later but didn’t get very far, I think the puzzles can be pretty inscrutable in classic point & click style. I wonder if this is the classic shareware problem where all the best stuff is in the demo… still, I think it’d be a fun one to do, lots to talk about.
