I found this in my inbox and thought I’d share, given how prominent MS-DOS was at the time these radio shows were broadcast.

Of course most of these don’t focus on gaming, with a few exceptions. You can’t put a value on this kind of nostalgic computing history!

    Excerpts from the article:

    > A previously lost cache of celebrity and historical
    > interviews from a long-dormant radio show have been
    > discovered, digitized, and made available for all.

    > The program included computer industry news,
    > product reviews, and interviews.

    > Interviews in the recovered recordings include
    > Timothy Leary, Douglas Adams, Bill Gates,
    > Atari’s Jack Tramiel, Apple’s Bill Atkinson,
    > and dozens of others.

    > The recovered shows span November 17 1984
    > through July 12, 1985.

Amazing, and that interview line-up. That’s incredible.

Have to love the Internet Archive.

    wow.

Just listening to the Bill Gates episode, wow nothing has changed! Bill and Michael talk MS-DOS, but then briefly speak about #AI !

Then later in the show Paul and Sarah talk about Work From Home potential issues with Computers entering the home and how the Gov doesn’t want people to be driven to slave labour due to no limits around working hours!
