I’m preparing a page for tools & resources for DOS gaming in the modern era.

It can be found here: https://www.dosgameclub.com/tools-resources/

If you have suggestions for this page, please let us know by replying to this thread 🙂

Not sure if it’s worth adding to the page, but a couple of notes:

    1. I get a lot of use out of D-Fend Reloaded these days. It makes it easier to set up and launch games in DOSBox.

    2. I recommend using a plan or enhanced DOSBox SVN build, such as DOSBox ECE. Mostly this is because the last official DOSBox release (0.74) is now quite old, and the community has come up with a lot of fixes and enhancements since then.

VOGONS is a fantastic site for looking up ways to get old games going on modern machines. It’s like PC Gaming Wiki for DOS.

There’s also DOS Games Archive, which has a great collection of shareware DOS games. It’s been my go-to for years.
