    It’s the 30th anniversary of the release of Wing Commander in September. How about playing it that month?

    The whole series is a massive favourite of mine. It’s the game that heralded the move to DOS gaming as the platform of choice in the 90’s, probably the first game to really make Amiga owners jealous which should be reason enough to play it.

    Yeah good idea, I’m all for checking it out. I’ve dabbled a little bit in Wing Commander 2 as a kid, mostly just liking the lion guys. I never got far in the actual game.
