I love this game so much but I have not played it since the 90s, so there is probably a heavy dose of nostalgia talking.
Regarding whether or not you need a walkthroug, I would say that it depends. I finished it without one at the time, but I am also a big fan of the Discworld books. If you are “tuned in” to the logic of the world and the humor etc., I think you start to understand the logic. Or lack thereof, depending on how you view it.
Is there a legal way to get this game nowadays? I would love to play it again.
This is a game I have so a lot of memories playing. At the time I was amazed with the atmosphere and being able to explore all the areas.
Fantastic game(s). Played and finished it perhaps 10 years ago and remember thoroughly enjoying my time. But, as pointer writes, it becomes a bit of a slog half way through.
Would definitely play them again if it is decided to be part of the games club schedule.
Yeah, I have read that they are supposed to be quite a hurdle to play because of their design. Especially the first game with saving the game costing money.
Then again, I think, with the right mind going in, it could be part of the charm and challenge.
I do think they still look quite nice, with lovely pixel art going by the screenshots.
Thank you Watchful! I’ll head on over to the subforum and add my suggestion.
